Acharya Aashish is a Modern-day Guru, an awakened master and a
spiritual leader. In this series of talks Acharya speaks about the menace of
too much thinking, why we think so much and the most important the remedy to
get out of the habit of Too Much Thinking.
Acharya speaks on Bhagwan Nityanand, Sant Dyaneshwar, Sant Kabir,
Swami Vivekanand, Subash Chandra Bose, Jesal and Toral, about meditation and on
how to use one of the most profound words ‘Go To Hell’ to remove unwanted
people from your life.
In this book Acharya Aashish speaks about thinking, how does it affect
us and what trouble we face if we involve our self in each and every thought of
ours?
Long ago, in the years 1990 we had telephone
operating systems which were operated manually, the telephone operator used to
remove cable from one socket and put it in another, in this way the phone lines
were transferred to different decks –
unless one desk was not shut the other would not function, there was nothing
like a conference call – so only one person could talk at one time – there was
also nothing like a barge in the middle of a call - I still use this principle
to operate in life – One at A Time, unless one compartment of the mind is not
shut do not use the other, multiple thinking is the result of all the mess.
You must have seen mad people on the
roads they are usually talking and muttering to themselves, making actions as
if there is someone with them, all the while they are busy communicating. They
are constantly engaged in doing and thinking something – if you carefully
observe there is no much difference between you and the mad man, you too are
doing the same thing. You are also constantly chattering, talking , thinking
and doing something, the only difference is that there is someone who is
responding to you and in the case of mad man there is no one it is just him but
if for an moment if you remove the respondent who you think is in front of you
and is hearing you then there is no much difference between you and the mad man
both are constantly talking, communicating and thinking – constant talking ,
communicating and thinking is indeed an act of madness because if you do this
too much then it will drive you crazy, in fact
whatever little crazy that you are at this moment is because you talk
and think too much.
